Challenge
Crystal Fighters was throwing their Crystal Fighters Wave Rave Festival, and we saw the perfect chance to hit young festival-goers with a bold message: recycle more and embrace glass—a sustainable alternative to crystal and plastic.
Idea
We got Crystal Fighters to temporarily switch their name to Vidrio Fighters on social media—a bold move for sustainability: crystal isn’t recyclable, but glass is.
At the concert, we invited fans to join the band for a beach cleanup the next day, with press on-site to amplify the message to a broader audience.
Results
The band changed their name, cleaned the beach with their fans, and shared the experience on social media.
Meanwhile, the press picked up the story and amplified the buzz:
